When I was a child (maybe 12 years old) I grabbed spontaneously a none-sharped pen, eraser and a piece of paper. Something or someone inside me wanted to draw, and so I did follow that impulse. I've always liked the paintings at castles or museums and wanted to know how the artists managed to create such masterpieces. I don't use paint as they did, but I'm still able to create art as well. The eyes were the most fascinating elements for me in those masterpieces. Eyes those seem to look at you all the time. I've wanted to be able to create that phenomenon too, and so I've started to practice portraits.
The first portraits were not that bad, but far away from perfect. One was able to recognize the person I've wanted to draw, but if one looked close enough there were a lot of details missing. One reason for that was my lack of using the pencil sharpener. In that way it was nearly impossible to create details. And I seemed to use the eraser more than the pencil itself. When I've completed a portrait I was so satisfied, that I didn't even recognize that the person on my drawing had no eyelashes. But that were my first tries of course. Unfortunately I've destroyed those portraits years ago. So I'm no longer able to show them on this Website and I deeply regret that.
Over the years I've practiced a lot and started to explore all the fine details of the human head. To be able to draw them all I had to add some more equipment to my current ones. And, so I've got a lot of different pencils, erasers and pieces of paper.
But enough talking. On the following sites you can see all of my favorite drawings showing different topics. Have fun watching!
PS: I know the watermark is almost too clearly, but there's a reason why. In the past there were many situations where I found my drawings on other websites without my permission or even my name. So I hope you understand why I chose to show you those pictures like that.
